This blog is a new venture for us....my daughter Mindy's (who built and maintains the site)effort to bring me into the 21st century. Just wanted to take a moment to express publicly how much I appreciate her hard work.... I am not always the most cooperative of clients.

2006 Best in Original Handcrafts
This deserves a mention. As we all know, the primary means by which Ed sells his birdhouses is through art shows. So, ten months out of the year, every weekend, he packs up the truck and heads out on the road. Where he goes will vary. It could be West Virginia, Maryland, Virginia or Ohio.
As with any artist, Ed's craft has become progressively better over the years.
This has been marked by many notable events, one of them being his award of Best in Original Handcrafts at the Daffodil Festival in Gloucester, Virginia.
